Actress Julia Haworth who play's Ashley Peacock's long suffering wife on Coronation Street has donated a sweatshirt she wore on the programme plus a signed photograph and letter of authentication to the Phoenix Fund's auction.  The Auction, which is due to take place at Royal Crown Derby on Monday 16th October is attracting a lot of interest from all over the world thanks to an article in the latest edition of the Royal Crown Derby Newsletter which has a worldwide circulation.  Graham Smith, Consultant Director of the Phoenix Fund, told the Trader: "Ever since the Newsletter was published several of our members have reported to me telephone calls from relatives and friends from as far away as Canada and the United States saying they had seen the news that Eric Knowles from the BBC Antiques Roadshow was conducting the auction.  It is important that we get as much  publicity as possible for our auction because of the high calibre of the lots."
